The scope of the Advanced School is to provide exposure to young researchers in the area of Biomedical Nanotechnology. The course will provide knowledge in advanced research topics such as Biomaterials, Smart Delivery Systems, Regenerative Medicine, Stem Cells, Characterization Techniques, Nanotoxicology,
etc.

Ph.D. students, post-doctoral RAs and young faculties (age up to 40 years) who are working in this area can apply. The School will be restricted to around 40 participants. The participants must stay for the full period of the School. Selected participants will be provided to and fro train fare in AC-2 tier and local hospitality.

The application must contain a CV, address for contact (with e-mail), record of past academic achievements, area of research and research experience and publications (must for RAs). The application must also accompany a letter of recommendation from the research supervisor that the School is of direct relevance to the research work done by the applicant. Application may be e-mailed to asbmnt@sastra.edu on or before 10 February 2013.

The selection will be made by an expert committee and will be intimated to the candidates by 25 February 2013.
