Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow in a SERB (DST)-funded research project entitled “Phytochemical and Metabolic Characterization of Prosopis cineraria Pods (Sangri) as Potential Nutraceuticals” at Department of Biological Sciences, Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani under the guidance of the undersigned (Principal Investigator) for a period of three years.
Eligibility: M.Sc. (or M.Tech.) in Life Sciences/Biochemistry/ Botany/Biotechnology with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Desirable: Candidates having lab experience in phytochemical analysis and/or protein purification/characterization will be preferred.
CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/DST INSPIRE qualification will be an added advantage.
Emoluments: Emoluments will be as per institute rules.

Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through e-mail by 10th February, 2013 and called for an interview at BITS, Pilani.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate if called for interview.
