With a score of 80, Deepa has emerged first amongst the 16,159 candidates who appeared for GATE-2013 in the biotechnology stream.
“Although I’ve been preparing for the past three years, I put in a lot more effort from December last year and my two internships at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru and University of Michigan, too helped me in writing GATE,” said an elated Deepa.
