Advertisement for JRF/SRF/RA in CSIR Project
Applications are invited for the post of JRF / SRF / RA in a CSIR, New Delhi sponsored research project entitled “Bioprospection of the Flora of Eastern Ghats for search of Potential Aromatic Crops for future Agriculture and Domestication” CSIR Sanctioned letter no 38 (1361) 12/ EMR- II dated 14.02.2013, to be started from 1st April 2013.
Qualifications
1. JRF - The candidate should be M.Sc., I or II class (55%) in Botany / Biotechnology / Life sciences degree and passing of NET / GATE test for JRF
2. SRF- The applicant should have two years of research experience, as evidenced by published papers in SCI journals.
3. RA - Minimum qualification is Doctorate ( Ph.D.) in related field
Fellowship JRF / SRF / RA fellowship and accommodation / HRA is admissible as per the norms of CSIR and University rules.
Application procedure and conditions
The upper age limit for JRF, SRF and RA shall be 28, 33 and 35 years respectively as on day in which the application is made. Applicants should note that the appointments to be made in the project are purely temporary and initially only for a period of one year but extendable if work is found satisfactory on year to year basis for a period not exceeding 3 years or till the completion of the project.

The candidates will have to appear for an interview with all original certificates and the date of interview will be intimated later.
The selection will be made purely as per the CSIR and College Guidelines subject to approval by CSIR. No TA & DA will be paid for attending the interview.
