Applications on prescribed form are invited for the posts of Research Scholars in
following subjects (12000/- fixed per month) (for two years) so as to reach the Deputy Registrar (Establishment)-1 Punjabi University, Patiala -147002 by 1/4/2013.
1. English-1, Foreign Languages-1, Chemistry –3 (1 SC), Forensic Science-1, Physics-1, Statistics-1, Botany-1, Zoology-2 (1 SC), Human Biology-1 ,Department of Post Graduate Studies, Regional Centre, Bathinda, Economics-1, Economics Deptt.-1, History-1, Political Science-1, Psychology-1, Public Administration-1, Social Work-1, Sociology & Social Anthropology-1, Dance-1, Fine Arts-1, Gurmat Sangeet-1.
Qualifications:
a) At least 50% Marks in BA/BSc and 55% Marks in M.A./M.Sc. Examination.
b) Preference/Priority will be given to the candidates having following qualifications:
(i) NET (UGC) Passed for Lecturership or M.Phil Degree.
(ii) Post Graduate degree with first class.
Candidates must have passed Punjabi in Matriculation examination or equivalent examination as per University rules.
Candidates already in service should send their applications through proper channel.
However an advance copy alongwith required certificates/Details marks cards/documents may be sent directly.
University reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up the posts and to call only suitable candidates for interview. Separate form should be sent for each post of every department.
Only those candidates will be eligible for University Research Scholarship who are already enrolled/registered with Punjabi University under Ph.D. Programme.
SC means reserved for Scheduled Caste.Only residents of Punjab are eligible for this. Application form can be obtained from the In-charge, University Enquiry & Information Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala - 147002, on payment of Rs. 100/- for Non-Teaching posts at the counter or by sending a demand draft in favour of the Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala, payable at Patiala to Incharge, University Enquiry & Information Centre alongwith a self-addressed envelope (25
x 10 cms) affixed with the postage stamps worth Rs. 25/- and indication on it the name of the post applied for. It can also be downloaded from the University website www.punjabiunivesity.ac.in and sent to the University alongwith a demand draft of Rs. 100/- in favour of Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala, payable at Patiala.
