Recruitment of Senior and Junior Research Scientists /Senior Research Scientist

Essential qualification and experience M.Sc. or equivalent with 10 years experience or M.Tech. (biomedical/instrumentation/electronics or allied disciplines) or equivalent with 9 years experience. Proven experience in managing and maintenance of core research facilities in life sciences.

Desirable Experience in managing and maintenance of confocal microscopes, live cell imaging facility, real time PCR, fluorescent activated cell sorter, X-ray crystallograph, mass spectroscope, etc.

Job description The candidate should provide support to the researchers using the facilities and help in optimal use of the facilities while ensuring that they are maintained well and have minimum downtime.

Age limit Preferable below 50 years.

Junior Research Scientist Rs 40,000 consolidated

Essential qualification and experience
M.Sc. with 6 years experience or M.V.Sc./M.Tech. (biomedical/ instrumentation/electronics or allied disciplines) or equivalent with 5 years experience. Proven experience in managing and maintenance of core research facilities in life sciences.

Desirable Experience in managing and maintenance of confocal microscopes, live cell imaging facility, real time PCR, fluorescent activated cell sorter, X-ray crystallograph, mass spectroscope, etc. In case of candidates with M.V.Sc., experience in maintenance of animals including transgenic mice and embryo cryopreservation is desirable.

Age limit Preferably below 45 years.
