The Environmental Biotechnology group under Dr. B. P. Shaw is working on understanding the mechanism of salt tolerance in plants adapting multiple approaches with emphasis on identifying salt responsive genes and proteins and their functional characterization.
In this regard, the lab is looking for a candidate having experience in protein expression in bacterial system and its purification.
