Application on plain paper illustrating with bio-data are invited for the post of two (02) Senior Research Fellows in the collaborative project of Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) entitled “Stock characterization, captive breeding, seed production and culture of Hilsa (Tenulosa ilisha)” in the Department of Zoology, Visva-Bharati University.
Fellowship will be given initially for three years (Rs. 16,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year and 18000/- for third year) and may be extended for another two years.
Essential Qualifications: At least 55% marks in M.Sc. Zoology with specialization in Fish biology /Endocrinology/Molecular biology or allied subjects.
The posts are co-terminus with the project.
