Postdoctoral Researcher and Foreign Professor Positions

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Researcher and a Foreign Professor position to undertake innovative research in the Department of Biotechnology at the Yeungnam University, Republic of Korea (http://www.yu.ac.kr/en/main/index.php

The applicant should hold a Ph.D in biology with good international publications.

Experience in some or all of the following disciplines are desirable: plant molecular biology or metabolic profiling or screening for bioactive compounds or biochemistry. Good oral and written communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team are required.

The successful candidates can participate in one of projects below.

1) Understanding of sound wave perception by Arabidopsis in molecular aspects; 2) Isolation and characterization of bioactive compounds from fungal endophytes of medicinal plants.

Salary will be within the range USD 20,000 ~30,000 per year depending on qualifications, experience and performance. For Foreign Professor position, housing and incentive for publication will be provided additionally.
