Applications are invited for the posts of four Research Associates to work in an inter-disciplinary research project in the area of Nanotechnology entitled ‘Processing, Characterization and Applications Functional Materials’ sponsored by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, under the University with Potential for Excellence Programme.

Essential qualifications: Ph.D. degree in any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Polymer Chemistry, Applied Geology, Earth Science, Geology, Earth Science and Resource Management, from a reputed University, and with First Class in M.Sc. and good number of research publications.

Monthly Fellowship of Rs 25,000 per month with HRA in the first two years and in the third year Rs 30,000 per month with HRA will be paid.

The Fellowships will be for a period of three years initially and shall be extended in special cases as per the requirement. The selection will be held through an interview. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for interview.
