Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) has major research programs in Human, Animal & Plant Diseases. Applications are invited from Postgraduates in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Medical, Veterinary and Chemical Sciences for our PhD program, currently affiliated to University of Kerala.
General category applicants must have First Class or above throughout and a valid Research Fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/DST-INSPIRE and should be less than 28 years of age as on June 1, 2013
SC/ST candidates with a valid fellowship need to have only 50% marks. They will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules, and are exempted from paying processing fees.

Completed applications along with the required fees may be submitted to the undersigned on or before May 15, 2013. Names of candidates called for short listing will be displayed on the RGCB website on May 20, 2013 and will also be notified by email. Short listing and selection of candidates will be by interview and Faculty interaction from June 10 to 14, 2013. Selected candidates are expected to join on July 10, 2013
