Post - Training & Placement Officer

Qualification - Post Graduate / MBA - HR / with good industry / Pharma industry contacts, good liaison and communication skills and capable to help and guide students in training and placement activities.

Experience - Experience of 3 years in academic institutions is a must.

Salary - As per qualification and experience

Required Training & Placement Officer for SAI INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL & ALLIED SCIENCES, DEHRADUN

(A) Job profile of placement officer (PO)

§ As per standard job profile of PO in Biomedical Institutes; however shall invariably include-

o Arrangement of campus interview

o Liaison with prospective companies/ employers

o Liaison with relevant HR/ placement agencies

o Building placement data for employers and students

§ Student's needs assessment for better placement and it's development.

§ Negotiation with prospective employers for salary etc. on behalf of students.

§ To conduct a survey of students and make data base for students inclinations and choices of placement and assignments.

§ To comply placement policy and suggest any modifications/additions in placement policy of SIPAS in the interest of SIPAS

§ As PO, he/ she will report to Chairman SIPAS. Benefits Guest faculty in HR / resource person - as per policy

(B) Training officer SIPAS

§ To facilitate, liaise, coordinate and administer Training programs and training section of SIPAS.

§ To prepare annual calendar for Training upgradation of skills of faculty and students of SIPAS in consultation and with the approval of management.

§ PTO shall report to Dir (ADMIN) for training section. Operations and Training section of SIPAS shall work as part of SIPAS Operations under Dir (ADMIN) - to coordinate with other relevant training institutes of state govt.

§ To develop management Development Cell to have better HR particularly in Non-teaching area /staff

§ To develop training materials/curriculum for faculty/non teaching staff training requirement.

§ To develop SIPAS training centre as self sustained revenue generating model in 1 years time.

§ To coordinate with other colleges / Educational institutes based in Uttarakhand (Dehradun) for resource sharing in the field of training needs.

§ To assist, guide and support management in training needs of SIPAS and comply management directions in training section needs.
