Applications are invited for Ph.D. Entrance Examination, 2013 of Saurashtra University in the discipline ‘Wildlife Science’ at the Wildlife Institute of India, P.O. Box # 18, Chandrabani, Dehra Dun – 248 001 (Uttarakhand). Candidates appearing for the Ph.D. Entrance Examination shall submit a demand draft of Rs. 550/- as application fee in favour of the Registrar, Saurashtra University payable at Rajkot along with the duly filled-in application form. Candidate must have Post-graduate degree with 55% marks in Life Sciences (Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Statistics/ Experimental Biology/Environmental Science/Biological Science/Wildlife Science/Agriculture/ M.V.Sc.). 5% relaxation in marks will be given to OBC, SC/ST & physically challenged applicants. Candidate appearing in the final examination of the Post Graduate Degree, shall also be eligible to apply for the Entrance Test but their Entrance Test result will be validated only after their final Post Graduate Degree Examination Result in the same academic term/semester.
Envelope super-scribed with the title “Application for the Ph.D. Entrance Examination 2013 (Wildlife Science), Saurashtra University” should be submitted in person or by post to The Research Coordinator, Wildlife Institute of India, P.O. Box # 18, Chandrabani, Dehra Dun – 248 001 (Uttarakhand). The last date of receipt of application at the Wildlife Institute of India is 5th June 2013. Upon scrutiny of duly filled-in application(s) received by the WII as on last date i.e. 5th June 2013, the list of candidates eligible to appear for the Ph.D. Entrance Test will be hosted in the Institute’s website www.wii.gov.in and the candidates will also be informed individually through phone/mobile/e-mail to appear for the Ph.D. Entrance Examination (2013) on Friday, 14th June 2013 at the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Chandrabani, Dehradun.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Duly filled-in application forms received at WII Centre after due date of submission i.e. 5th June 2013, will be rejected.
Applicants should clearly mention all contact details (phone/mobile/e-mail) in the application form, so that the eligible candidates shall be timely informed to appear for the Entrance Examination (2013) to be held at WII on Friday, 14th June 2013.
The Admit Card and the Attendance Slip for the eligible candidates for the Ph.D. Entrance Exam will be issued at the time of registration on 14th June 2013 from 09:00hrs to 10:00hrs at WII.
The Director, WII reserves the right to reject any candidature in view of incomplete information provided by the candidate or for any other reason.
The Institute will not provide any accommodation and travel cost(s) for candidates appearing for the entrance exam. They are required to travel at their own cost and make arrangements at their own for their stay, if required.
