BCIL IPR Project Executive/Senior Project Executive Openings

BCIL is inviting applications from qualified, experienced and ambitious professionals for position of Project Executive/Senior Project Executive for handling Project(s) in the area of Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology-Transfer. The details of the requirements are given below:

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech./B.Tech. (Biotechnology/Lifesciences) with at least two years of experience in IP management.

Desired Qualifications: Ph.D. (Biotechnology/Lifesciences) and LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from some reputed organization.

 The candidate should have at least two years of experience in the area of technology management including IP management.
 Sound knowledge and experience in undertaking IP searches such as prior-art search, freedom-to-operate search, landscape analysis etc.
 Candidate with considerable understanding of Agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, collaboration agreements, license agreements, assignments deeds etc. would be preferred.

Key responsibilities would include:

 Undertaking IP searches such as prior-art search, freedom-to-operate search, landscape analysis etc.
 Technology evaluation-including technical, IP and market evaluation
 Protection, marketing and licensing of intellectual property including post-transfer monitoring of licensee performance.
 Other responsibilities may include- undertaking evaluation studies, compiling, writing reports etc.
