Applications are invited for the following purely temporary posts in the Project entitled "Study on the regulation of adipose tissue development and function by post-translational protein arginylation" funded by the DBT.
Junior Research Fellow: One
Salary: Rs. 16000/- P. M + HRA
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. with first class in any field of Life Sciences/Biotechnology with at least one year experience in mass spectrometry based analysis of post-translational modifications of biomolecules. Preference will be given to applicants who enjoy verifiable experience in handling Laser Desorption Ionization Mass Spectrometry (LDI-MS) based metabolomics and animal cell culture.
Desirable qualification: Knowledge and work experience in immune-detection techniques (e.g. western blotting and immunohistochemistry), computational tools for Mass Spectrometry based data acquisition and analysis.
The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, for a period of one year or till his / her services are required by the project Director or till Validity of the project, whichever is earliest.
