Applications are invited for the post of a Project JRF with a fellowship of Rs.16,000/- p.m + 20% HRA in a DST sponsored research project entitled “Avian immune system: Melatonin in regulation of free radicals, cytokines and apoptosis in spleen and lungs” sanctioned for a duration of three years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
The candidate should be M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences (Animal Sciences) with 55% minimum marks in PG and those with 6 months dissertation/training in basic techniques (Molecular endocrinology/Immunology) in M.Sc. will be preferred.
NET-LS/GATE is mandatory. Age should not exceed 28 years. (A relaxation of 5 years upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/physically challenged/female candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be given preferences as per GOI rules.
Desirable qualifications: 1. Specialization in Endocrinology 2. Hands-on experience in molecular /endocrinological techniques.
