Biodiversity/Taxonomy Visva-Bharati SRF Opening

Applications are invited for a Senior Research Fellow up to March 2014 in the Dr. B. P. Pal National Environmental Fellowship Award project of Prof. S. P. Adhikary entitled "Biodiversity assessment of algae and Cyanobacteria from eastrerm Himalaya and hot spots of North Eastern region" sponsored by MOEF, Govt. of India.

The candidates should have passed M.Sc. in Botany or Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks and 2 years of research experience with fellowship in the field of Biodiversity and taxonomy of freshwater algae evidenced by documents and research publications.

The monthly fellowship amount of SRF is Rs. 14000/- per month and 10/-HRA. Age should be below of 30 years. The application should reach Prof. S. P. Adhikary, Department of Biotechnology, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan 731235, West-Bengal within 15 days from the date of advertisement, j.e. 9th July 2013.
