WALK- IN- PERSONAL DISSCUSION/INTERVIEW

The following posts are to be filled up at ICMR’s “Centre for Promotion of Nutrition
Research and Training ………..” at ICMR Campus –II, TAI Building, New Delhi. These posts are to be filled up at its New Delhi/NOIDA Office. The post are to be filled up on purely temporary basis for a period of one year and will be renewed annually with periodical evaluation. The Centre has been Coordinating various scientific activities in the field of Nutrition and Food Safety. Besides, Centre has NABL accredited Lab where analysis of Micronutrients, Lipid Profile etc. is being done.

(2) POST – SCIENTIST ‘B’ (Equivalent of Research Officer)

(a) Non-Medical (Three) Un reserved

Age limit - 35 years.

Consolidated pay-@ Rs. 36,120/- + 30% HRA(Rs. 6300/-p.m.) Total salary of Rs. 42,420/- pm fixed.

Qualifications- Ist class Master’s degree in Life Science/Nutrition/Chemistry from a recognized University or 2nd Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in Life Science/Nutrition/Chemistry from a recognized University.

Job requirement: To carry out/coordinate laboratory work which is primarily on biochemical parameters. Any other work assigned by the Center.

Terms & Conditions for the post are as follows:

1. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
2. Benefits of provident fund, HRA(Except for Scientist -B),CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. are not applicable.
3. Age relaxation for temporary Govt. Servants, SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules in force. Age relaxation will be considered for deserving candidates on the recommendation of selection committee. Candidate should be of 18 years age as on 1-6-2013.

4. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview.
5. Qualification and experience should be from a recognized organization.
6. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
7. Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/Organizations are not eligible to apply.
8. Consolidated salary of each post may be revised as per ICMR instructions from time to time.

Those appearing for walk-in-personal discussion should bring with them (1) All Certificate/Testimonial in Original, (2) One attested copy each of the Certificates/Testimonial, (3) Five copies of brief Curriculum Vitae may be brought in the enclosed application form only without which candidate will not be allowed to appear for personal discussion /interview.
