Position for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (DST sponsored project)
Applications are invited from the citizens of India for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the DST sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Biological Sciences, IISER-Kolkata. This temporary position is initially for a period of one year and extendable up to a maximum of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance. The requisite qualification, experience, etc. as desired are given below:
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
Number of Vacancy: One
Project name: Understanding collective cell migration using the model of border cells in Drosophila oogenesis.
Funding Agency: Department of Science & technology (DST)
Eligibility: Motivated candidates with M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences, Biological Sciences (minimum 55% marks in M.Sc.). Previous research experience will be beneficial.
Salary: Rs. 16,000/- + 30% HRA per month.
