Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited for the position (One) of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a BRNS, DAE, Government of India funded research project entitled ‘The effect of electron beam irradiation on expression of ER stress genes and its modulatory role in oligodendrocytes and axon-glial cells interactions: possible implications for demyelinating disorders’ at Department of Applied Zoology, Mangalore University, Mangalagangothri 574 199.

The fellowship is tenable for three years with an emolument of Rs 16,000 p.m. for the first two years and Rs 18,000 p.m. for the third year with admissible HRA.

Qualification: The applicant should have minimum 55% marks in M.Sc. Zoology/Neuroscience/ Biotechnology/life sciences with specialized in Molecular Biology and animal cell culture techniques.
