Junior Research Fellows
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellows (2 No’s) for a minimum period of two years for the following projects sanctioned by the DAE-BRNS on consolidated monthly emoluments of Rs 16,000 p.m.
Project No. 1. ‘Understanding cell signaling alterations associated with radiation therapy in combination with Ras pathway inhibitors to identify new therapeutic targets for metastatic melanoma’.
Qualification: Master’s degree in life science subjects with a minimum of 60% marks with good academic records. Candidate with previous experience in any one of fields such as molecular biology, cell culture or animal handling will be preferred.
Project No. 2. ‘A study of the bioleaching of monazite ores by Microorganisms’.
Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks and a good academic background. Previous work experience in sampling/culturing of environmental microorganisms with biochemical/chromatographic analytical skills will be preferred.
