RNAi and other cutting edge technological intervention to develop inset-pest, diseases &viruses tolerant tomato hybrids for Indian & International markets
Ph.D/M.Sc. (with 3 years of laboratory experience) in Biochemistry /Biotechnology/Life Science. Job requirement includes phenotyping of virus resistant material, maintenance of virus cultures. Development of infectious clones.
i) Experience in the area of molecular cloning. Southern/Northern/ Western hybridization.
ii) Experience in handling softwares involved in Life Sciences research.
Junior Research Fellow
M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Life Sciences / Plant Molecular Biology
i) Hands on experience in molecular biology,
ii) Experience in handling softwares involved in Life Sciences research.
1. Age maximum 35 years on the date of advertisement, relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/women and 3 years for OBC candidates.
2. The positions are purely temporary and shall be terminated on termination of the project.
3. NET/GATE qualified preferred (Non-NET and non-GATE qualified) candidates with desirable experience may also apply.
