Spain Epigenetics Post Doc Opening | UNAV Recruits @ helpBIOTECH

We are recruiting a highly motivated and talented PhD student for the ITN-Marie Curie project titled ” Role of lncRNAs in the epigenetic alterations during cellular senescence”.

Tasks: The candidate will identify lncRNAs involved in cellular senescence and will determine their relationship with the stablishment of the epigenetic landscape of senescent cells. The work will combine techniques for the detection of lncRNA-protein and lincRNA-chromatin interactions as well as chromatin analyses. Additionally, functional and genomic studies with inhibition and overexpression of lncRNAs will be performed to determine their biological roles.

Requirements:

The candidate must not have resided, worked or studied in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the recruitment under the project. Compulsory national service and/or short stays such as holidays are not taken into account.

The candidate, at the time of recruitment, should have not yet been awarded the doctorate degree and should be in the first 4 years (full-time equivalent) of his/her research career.

Duration: 36 months
