Vacancy of Senior Research Fellows
Two Senior Research Fellow (SRFs) posts are vacant in the research project entitled “National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal diseases (NSPAAD)” at the National Bureau of Fish Genetics Resources, NBFGR Kochi Unit, funded by Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (DAHDF), Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India through National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB).
The posts are purely temporary and will end with the termination of the project. The project fellowship is Rs. 16,000/- and 20% HRA for first two years and Rs. 18,000/- and 20% HRA for the subsequent year.
Candidates with M.F.Sc./M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Zoology) with experience in Fish Disease Diagnosis particularly in molecular methods are eligible for the post. The project work will involve extensive sampling of ornamental fishes in Kerala and Tamil Nadu at 15 days intervals.
Preference will be given to those who are willing to travel across Kerala and Tamil Nadu at 15 days intervals and having work experience in bacteriology, virology and molecular biology.
