Sussex UK Neuroscience PhD Program 2014 for International Students

University of Sussex

Sussex Neuroscience 4-Year PhD Programme (2014)

Sussex Neuroscience attracts some of the the brightest and most enthusiastic young researchers. The new 4-Year PhD Programme enhances the training we offer by providing a first year of lab rotations together with taught courses tailored to each student's background and interests. Students then make their choice of PhD project to be completed in years 2-4. Four awards are made per year, on a competitive basis, for September entry. The first intake will be in September 2014.

Sussex Neuroscience is a thriving community of over 50 neuroscience research groups based on a single campus. Research strengths cover all areas of contemporary neuroscience and are grouped under the following four interdisciplinary themes:

Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience

Circuits, Systems and Computational Neuroscience

Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience

Translational and Clinical Neuroscience
