Theme of workshop The study of anatomy and physiology of animals is fundamental to train any research student whom-soever wishes to specialize in any field of animal research. Research with laboratory animals has led to important scientific advances in physiology, ge-netics, behavior, nutrition and other biomedical fields. Experiments on animals is necessary to sup-port biological research in areas of immunology, cancer biology, cell biology, genetics, infectious diseases etc. and enables such research to meet internationally accepted standards. The research-ers need to learn and practice proper methods to observe, handle, care for, experiment with, and dissect laboratory animals. All research must stick to the systematizing, defending and recommending concepts of ethical regulations and be responsible in pursuing moral philosophy in order to follow appropriate procedures for handling and experi-menting with animals dedicated to scientific re-search. This workshop primarily aims to promote the humane and responsible care and use of animals for scientific purposes and teaching essential re-quirements of providing specifications that will en-hance animal well being , promoting quality in the pursuit of advancement of biological knowledge that is relevant to humans and animals.
