Applications are invited for the following positions in the Research project entitled,
“Preventing extinction and improving conservation status of threatened plants through application of biotechnological tools” sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, New Delhi.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (1 position)
Pay scale: (Rs. 16000+ 10% HRA for 1st& 2nd years; Rs. 18000+ 10% HRA for 3rd, 4th & 5th Years) (Non-NET (JRF) candidates may be appointed @Rs. 12,000/- + 10% HRA p.m.)
Duration: 2 yrs 4 months (the appointment is co-terminus with the project)
Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Botany/Life Science/Ecology &Environmental
Science/Forestry
Desirable Qualification: Aptitude for intensive field work, knowledge on computers and handling software
