JRF Position in BRNS-DAE Sponsored Project
Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS)-Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) sponsored research project (No. 2013/35/39/BRNS/1362, dated 8 August 2013) at Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, on purely temporary basis, co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Title: Bioprospecting and characterizing bioactive molecules from Arnebia euchroma and Selaginella bryopteris and enhancing their in vitro production using gamma irradiation.
Post: JRF – 01 [under extremely backward class (EBC) category].
Qualification: M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Biotechnology/Plant Biochemistry/Plant Breeding or any branch of Life science with specialization in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Plant Physiology.
Desirable: Working experience in the area of in vitro production of secondary metabolites.
Fellowship: Rs 16,000 p.m. consolidated.
Duration: Initially for two years, may be upgraded to SRF for third year.
