Defence Life Sciences Consortium comprising of Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) provides an excellent opportunity for young and motivated researchers to pursue a career in basic and applied life sciences research. DIPAS endeavors in optimizing human performance under extreme operational environments using physiological, biochemical, nutritional and ergonomic approach. The lab is equipped with state-of-art facilities to conduct in vitro, in vivo & human studies with an interdisciplinary approach.
Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) to work in ongoing and future research projects at DIPAS.
Recruited candidates may be facilitated to register for Ph.D programme in respective disciples.
JRF - 5 Posts
MSc degree with 60% marks in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Biomedical Sciences/ Physiology / Life Sciences/ Electronics
Application procedure: Eligible candidates should send their duly complete application form before 09.01.2014 till 1700hrs. Eligible candidates will appear for an interview at 10:00 hrs on 21.01.2014 at DIPAS, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi-110054.
Age: For Junior Research Fellows (JRF) maximum 28 years, as on the last date for receipt of application (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC as per govt. rules)
Travelling allowances (TA) will not be admissible for the interview.
Candidates will be required to produce certificates/testimonials in original at the time of interview.
Admission shall not be claimed by any candidate as a matter of right. The admission shall be entirely at the discretion of the Selection Committee of the Institute which may refuse to admit any candidate without assigning any reason thereof. Number of seats for JRF may increase or decrease without prior notice.
