Ph.D. studentship in "Stem Cell Proteomics" (5 positions)
Qualifications:
1) M.Sc. in any field of Life Sciences;
2) Candidates must have secured JRF funding from CSIR-UGC, DBT, ICMR, BINC and DST-INSPIRE
3) Previous experience in a molecular biology or proteomics laboratory is advantageous
Selected JRFs will be involved in ongoing collaborative research projects between IOB (http://www.ibioinformatics.org/publications.php) and Dr. Maneesha Inamdar's laboratory (http://www.jncasr.ac.in/inamdar/) at JNCASR, Bangalore.
Selected JRFs must be willing to shuttle between IOB and JNCSAR. They will be trained in cutting edge technologies in quantitative proteomics and phosphoproteomics at IOB. At JNCASR, they will get opportunities to be trained in a number of molecular, genetic and developmental biology analyses using Drosophila, mouse and human ES cell lines.
Only candidates who can relocate to Bangalore and shuttle between two Institutes need to apply. Candidates should have the ability to work in a team.
