Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow

JUIT, Waknaghat invites applications for 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for research and development work in DBT sponsored project sanctioned under Rapid Grant for Young Investigators (RGYI) scheme as detailed below:

Title of the project: “Development of a multi-compartment in vitro model of the human gastrointestinal tract”

Duration of Project: Three Years

Essential Qualification: First class M.Tech/M.Sc. (Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Life Sciences) (Preferably NET/GATE qualified) and experience in microbiological and molecular techniques.

Desirable experience: Research experience in microbial ecology, microbial physiology and metabolism, Fermentation Technology

Scholarship: @ 18000 per month

Personal particulars, Academic record (12th onwards), Details of qualifying examination like NET/GATE, Research/Professional Experience, Publication/ Awards/Prizes, Name of two referees who are willing to provide first-hand feedback on the applicant’s work, Any other relevant information

Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknghat, Solan, H.P. Date and time of interview will be intimated to the short-listed candidates by email.

Note: The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned project. TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview. The selected candidate will be allowed to register for Ph.D degree at JUIT, Waknaghat.
