The State Government of Gujarat, in its resolve and continued endeavors for socio-economic up-liftment of society, has identified Biotechnology as most potential tool for development. The State intends to promote biotechnology sector by building appropriate image, encouraging entrepreneurship, strengthening organizational colorations and forecasting business partnerships. For facilitating the development of biotechnology in the State, Government of Gujarat has constituted Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, under the aegis of Department of Science and Technology.
Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission is a nodal agency of Department of Science & Technology, Govt of Gujarat to promote, support and facilitate the development of biotechnology in the state by promoting research and development, by generating the quality human resource and by supporting the development of biotechnology industries by taking effective measures and policy and planning level. To promote, support and facilitate the overall development of Biotechnology in the State. To provide institutional, legal, financial and policy support. To facilitate Entrepreneurship in the state, GSBTM is setting up ‘Savli Bio-Incubator’ – a Technology Business Incubator at Savli Biotech Park, Vadodara.
For the development of Savli Bio-Incubator, GSBTM is looking manpower for different positions.
1 Maintenance Engineer (1 Post)
55,000/- per Month Fixed
Possess a degree in
B.E. Mechanical / Electrical Engg.
M.Sc. Instrumentation/ Electronics.
Possess the basic knowledge of Computer.
Experience in Industrial Maintenance, Development & Technology Development is essential.
6 Years in case of Qualifying degree (A)
5 Years in case of Qualifying degree (B)
Experience in Biotech/ BioMedical Industry is desirable.
2 Head, Instrumentation (1 Post)
50,000/- per Month Fixed
Possess a degree in
B. Sc.
M.Sc.
B. E./B. Tech. (BT)/B. Pharm.
Possess the basic knowledge of Computer.
Specified Work Exp. of the nature – Operations, Trouble Shooting, Tendering, etc related to Scientific Instruments for Biotech & Analytical Lab is essential.
6 Years in case of Qualifying degree (A)
5 Years in case of Qualifying degree (B)
4 Years in case of Qualifying degree (C)
Hands-on workshop training for high end molecular biology work; Tendering of instruments, chemicals, consumables; Ability to administrate a laboratory and wet lab work planning and execution would be desirable.
3 Bio Incubation Asst. Manager (Cap. Building) (1 Post)
30,000/- per Month Fixed
Possess a degree in
B. E. (Biotech) / B. Tech. (Biotech)/ B. Pharm.
M. Sc. (Biotech. Or allied subjects)
M. Phil. (Biotech. Or allied subjects)/ M. Tech. (Biotech.)/ M. Pharm. (Pharm. BT).
Possess the basic knowledge of Computer.
Experience in Bio-Incubation Space is essential
