Junior Research Fellow Position in DST-SERB Sponsored Project
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST-SERB sponsored project titled ‘Comparison of lung developmental genetics among mouse strains with extremely divergent lung function’ (Project Ref. No.: SB/SO/AS-026/2013).
Principle investigator: Dr Koustav Ganguly, Associate Professor, SRM Research Institute, SRM University, Kattankulathur 603 203, Tamil Nadu.
Fellowship: Rs 16,000 plus HRA per month for the first two years and Rs 18,000 plus HRA per month for the third year as per the DST norms.
Duration: 3 years till the completion of the project.
Essential qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in any branches of Life Science.
Desirable: Basic molecular biology techniques, experience with animal handling, animal cell culture and microarray.
