Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, under the supervision of Dr. Pradip B. Dhamole, Department of Chemical Engineering,BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.

Title of the project: Extractive fermentation with surfactants to enhance butanol production

Duration of the project: 03 years

Project position and number: JRF (01)

Fellowship amount: Rs. 12000/- + 30% HRA

Eligibility requirements: M.Tech./M.E. in Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Technology/ Chemical Engineering with first division. Students in Chemical Engineering must have Biochemical Engineering at bachelor’s or master’s level

Desirable: Exposure to fermentation, surfactant chemistry and separation processes

Selected candidate may be permitted to register for Ph.D programme of BITS, Pilani, subject to the fulfillment of the requirements.
