Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:

Project Title: Ability of select PGPM strains to remediate organophosphate pesticides commonly used in agriculture

PI: Dr. S Krishna Sundari, Associate Professor, Biotechnology department, JIIT

Post: JRF (one)

Duration of the appointment: Initially for one year. May be continued subject to performance, other conditions.

Emoluments: 18,000/- fixed per month (consolidated)

Essential Qualifications: MSc in Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology. Preference will be given to CSIR /UGC/ JRF/NET qualified candidates. However, Non-NET qualified candidates can also apply.

Job Description: The project involves microbial physiology, study of enzymes involved in degradation, molecular characterization, pesticide residue analysis etc.
