ABOUT THE CONFERNCE Widespread resistance to the existing armoury of antimicrobials is no longer a threat but a reality. Unfortunately, not many new drugs are expected to reach the market in the near future; therefore, immediate attention is needed to avert the looming healthcare disaster. The drug discovery efforts in this direction are currently facing immense scientific and business challenges. This conference is aimed at discussing the recent developments in the fields of infectious diseases with particular attention to TB, malaria, dengue, AIDS and other bacterial infections. The theme of this conference will be on meeting the challenges and future perspectives for the discovery of antimicrobial agents. The conference will have keynote addresses and invited talks by renowned scientists working in the area of Infectious diseases. There will also be opportunity for the young scientists to present their research through oral/poster presentations.
