IISc Summer Fellowship 2014 in Science and Engineering for SC/ST Students

Indian Institute of Science invites applications for the IISc. Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering only for SC/ST Students - 2014.

Eligibility:

SC/ST students studying I year M.Sc in science disciplines (Biological, Physical, Chemical and Mathematical Sciences) or III year B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree, during the academic year 2013-14.

Selection Criteria:

IISc. will evolve a suitable criteria for selecting the candidates for the programme.

Financial Support:

IISc. will provide:

- Travelling allowance equivalent to II Class train fare from College/residence to IISc. andback.

- Free boarding and lodging (on sharing basis) atIISc.

- Fellowship of Rs.5,000/- and a book grant of Rs.1500/-

Features of the Programme:

Selected candidates will work with one of the IIScFaculty members and learn various techniques used in research for a period of one month during May-June 2014.

Last date for submission of filled in applicationform is 18^th April 2014.
