Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the post of JRF and Field Assistant in the KSCSTE assisted Research Project under Dr.C.C.Harilal, Asst.Professor, Division of Environmental Science,, Dept. of Botany,University of Calicut.

I) JRF(1)

Essential Qualifications :

1. First class M.Sc in Botany/Plant Science/Applied Plant Science/ Environmental Science/Life Science/Aquatic Biology/Aquaculture/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/Geology.

2. Age below 30 years

Desirable :

a) UGC/CSIR NET qualified
b) Expertise in RS/GIS applications and experience in the analysis of soil/sediment/water samples
c) Willingness to undertake field work especially in coastal areas.

Tenure : 3 years

Scale and Emoluments : 11,000/- + 10% HRA/ month for 3 years.

II) Field Assistant (1)

Essential Qualifications :

1. First class M.Sc in Botany/Plant Science/Applied Plant Science/Environmental Science/Life Science/Aquatic Biology/Aquaculture/Biochemistry/ Zoology/Geology.

2. Age below 30 years

Desirable :

a) UGC/CSIR NET qualified
b) Expertise in RS/GIS applications and experience in the analysis of soil/sediment/water samples
c) Willingness to undertake field work especially in coastal areas.

Tenure : 3 years

Scale and Emoluments : 6000/- per month (consolidated)

Communal reservation will be followed in accordance with the provision of KS&SSR and Kerala Public Service Commission Manual.
