Eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in-interview on 17-06-2014 at 9.30 AM for the following temporary posts in two different externally funded research projects at Institute of Biotechnology, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad.

DBT Funded Network Project on “Identification of candidate genes for water use efficiency in rice through activation tagging”.

Duration: one year and further extendable

I.Technical Assistant (1 no)

Essential qualifications: Bachelors degree in science from a recognized and reputed university.

Desirable qualification : Experience in tissue culture transformation and other molecular techniques with experience in rice fields.

Emoluments: Consolidated pay of Rs 8,000/- (fixed)

USAID funded Network Project on “Pigeonpea Improvement using molecular breeding.”

I.Field Assistant/Technical Assistant (1 no) Work will be both at ARS, Tandur,
RangaReddy District and IBT, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad)

Essential qualification: Bachelors degree in Agriculture/ B.Sc (Plant Sciences) /Botany with one year experience/Agricultural polytechnic with 2 years experience.

Desirable qualification : Good exposure to field crop management especially pigeon pea

Emoluments: Consolidated pay of Rs 10,000/-p.m (fixed)

1. The above positions are purely temporary contractual and is co-terminus with the project.
There is no provision of re-employment after termination of the project.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for attending the interview.
3. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature
4. Interested candidates should bring the following documents with them at the time of
interview:

• Original certificates and its attested copies of educational qualifications and age.
• Experience certificate in original, if any.
• Latest passport size photo.
