Harvesting Technical Innovation in R & D organization with special reference to animal science sector
Commercialization of IP, Technology Transfer and Licensing, Extracting value from IP through licensing, licensing agreements
Entrepreneurship development in livestock sector and role of IP
Research collaboration agreements among R & D organization and industry/ farmers organizations
Traditional Knowledge system in animal sciences
Enforcement of IPR, infringement of patents and reliefs.
Drafting of patent applications, Patent filing, and drafting of IP legal agreements.
Duration
The course duration is 10 days from August 18-27, 2014. Outstation participants are requested to arrive latest by the night of 17th August and can leave after 18.00 hrs on 28th August, 2014.
Eligibility
Participation is restricted to Scientists/Assistant professors/Associate professors/Professors or equivalent positions in ICAR institutes/State Agricultural/Veterinary Universities/KVKs in the discipline of Animal Nutrition / Animal Physiology / Livestock Production and Management/Poultry Science/Animal Genetics and Breeding/Allied Sciences having minimum of 2 years Research/Teaching/Extension experience. There is no course fee.
The last date of receipt of nomination is 31st May, 2014. The selected candidates will be intimated on or before 5th June, 2014 either by fax/speed post/E-mail/Mobile, who in turn have to confirm their participation by 15th June, 2014. Participants must plan their
journey only after confirmation from NIANP.
