Prof.G.M.Reddy Research Foundation
in collaboration with Virtue Biologics offers Workshop on Next Generation Sequencing data analysis
Workshop summary
Workshop organized by Prof.G.M.Reddy
Research Foundation in collaboration with Virtue Biologics will include theory
classes by translational bioinformatics experts and hands-on practical sessions
using open source analysis tools. This workshop is to introduce NGS data
analysis to individuals with interest and basic training in bioinformatics
and/or Genomics. Hands-on exercises will be performed on bioinformatics
workstations running GNU-linux (Ubuntu). This is not a placement course perse.
Target audience
This workshop is for young
scientists, PhD students and current employees in genomics, disease genomics and
bioinformatics. It is helpful if participants possess basic knowledge of
GNU-linux, bioinformatics tool usage and the R statistical package.
