Eligibility : Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences & NET qualified Or Graduate Degree in Professional Courses and GATE or equivalent qualification
Further details on Qualification & Experience:
(i) M.Sc. in Physics/Biophysics /Mathematics (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Statistics at B.Sc. level). Preferance will be given to applicants with CSIR-UGC JRF in Physical/Mathematical/Engineering Sciences.
(ii) M.Sc. in Physics/Biophysics/Mathematics or related disciplines with DST INSPIRE fellowship to persue PhD. (iii) A Bachelors (B.E./B.Tech.) or Masters (M.E./M.Tech.) degree in Aerospace,Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Chemical, Electrical,Instrumentation,Electronics and Communication engineering.
Preference will be given to applicants with a valid gate score in PH/AE/CH/EC/EE/XE/IN/BT.
Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m.
Job Profile : Applicant will develop physical/computational models using data from single molecule experiments. Prior experience of programming in Fortran/C/C++/Java /Matlab is preferred.
The positions are temporary initially for a period of one year and tenable only for the duration of project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
