Applications are invited for the following post at the Department of Biological Sciences, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani Campus, Pilani, in a DST- SERB, Govt. of India funded project entitled: "Characterization of major components of [Fe-S] cluster assembly pathway in Plasmodium vivax”

Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01

Fellowship : Rs.12,000 - 16,000 per month for first two years and Rs.18,000 per month for third year. (Inclusive of HRA)

Essential qualification: Master's degree or equivalent in Life-Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology or any other related area with strong academic record (with minimum 70% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate).

Experience in basic biochemistry, microbiology and molecular biology techniques is desirable. NET (Lectureship)/GATE qualified will be preferred.

The project duration is for three years and the selected candidates would be appointed after an interview. Appointment will be purely on temporary basis as stipulated by the existing rules of the DST and BITS, Pilani, and co-terminus with the duration of project.
