M.Sc Bioinformatics Admission Notice
Centre for Bioinformatics Studies, Dibrugarh University, a premier Teaching and Research Hub of Bioinformatics in North East India Announces Admission Notice for M.Sc 8th Batch (Session 2014-16)
Centre and Course Highlights: Centre for Bioinformatics Studies in joint academic collaboration with RMRC (Indian Medical Research Council) and NEIST (formerly RRL Jorhat) has been producing quality human resources in Bioinformatics who are being employed in various roles like Assistant Professors, SRF, JRF, Research Assistants, Trainee in Government Research Organizations, Universities, Colleges and Industry as well. Quality Education is is imparted by faculty members of the Centre, Part Time faculties from sister departments and Sr. Scientists of RMRC-ICMR and NEIST Jorhat with personalized care on individual student.
Eligibility: Any science graduate from any recognized University or Institute in Biological Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Medical Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Biotechnology, Engineering or those who have appeared in the final examination of any of these. Further, the science graduate must have atleast two of the subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. (minimum 45% marks in major course or minimum 45% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in aggregate in case of graduate completed the general course).
Procedure: Application forms and prospectus can be obtained from Academic Branch of Dibrugarh University or from D.R. College Golaghat, J.B. College Jorhat, Shivsagar Commerce College, Tinsukia Commerce College, Dhemaji College and Lakhimpur Girls College by depositing a Bank Challan of Rs.300/-(Rs 300/- as Application Charge , Rs.20/- as Bank Charge ) obtained from any branch of the State Bank of India by filling up the prescribed Bank Challan format available in the website: www.dibru.ac.in. Application forms can be also be downloaded from http://www.dibru.ac.in and can be submitted with a Bank Challan of aforesaid amount. .Completed application forms accompanied by self-attested copies of documents are to be submitted to: Director, i/c, Centre for Bioinformatics Studies, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugrh,786004.
