NBRI Neuropathogenesis JRF Opening

NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC), Manesar-122 051, Gurgaon, requires a “Junior Research Fellow” in a project funded by Department of Biotechnology

Interested candidates fulfilling the following requirement can submit their bio-data along with attested copies of certificates in support of their qualifications and experience mentioned in the bio-data and three letters of references latest by 28th  July 2014 to “The Registrar, National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Nainwal Mode, Manesar-122 051, Distt- Gurgaon (Haryana).

Title of the Project : Understanding Neuron-Glia Crosstalk in HIV Neuropathogenesis.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science, with more than 60% and experience in  research laboratory for at least 1/2 years. As the project involves study on cellular  and molecular pathways and cell culture based experiments, experience with  handling mammalian cell culture, basic molecular biology assays and  experimentation is mandatory for project.

Desirable requirements : Experience western blotting, PCR, Microscopy, handling and experimentation with  and knowledge of primer designing, will be considered an added qualification.

Emoluments : ` 14,000/- per month (consolidated)

Duration : The post is co-terminus with the project ending March 2015 but may be extended, subject to funding. The selected candidate should abide by the rules and regulations of DBT and NBRC.

Accommodation : Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC and as per availability in  the Hostel at NBRC Campus, Manesar.

Note : No TA/DA will be payable to the candidates for attending interview
