Analysis of Rice samples according to Fair Average Quality | CFRI Project Assistant Openings

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment of 2 [TWO] positions of Project Assistants (PA- 2) on a temporary contractual basis in the sponsored project entitled " Analysis of Rice samples according to Fair Average Quality " (SSP-198) at the Department of Grain Science and Technology (GST), CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore, Karnataka

Essential Qualification:First class M.Sc., degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Food science & Nutrition/Food Technology with good academic records.

Desirable: Computer knowledge with experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Access).

Emoluments: Rs.12,000/- per month

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Candidates should not have exceeded 28 years of age as on 15-08-2014 i.e. the last date of receipt of applications for the post. Relaxation in age is applicable for SC/ST and date as per rule.
  2. The engagement of Project Assistant is exclusively for the above mentioned project.
  3. The engagement will be contractual and on purely temporary basis in the project for a maximum period of 4.5 months and is co-terminus with the project, if the project terminates earlier.
  4. The engagement under externally funded project does not confer any right/claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR/CFTRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent.
  5. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview.
