Applications are invited on plain paper along with complete Bio-data and copies of certificates/ testimonials for the following positions in the MOEF sponsored project “Fragmentation of humid subtropical broad-leaved forests and its impact on plant diversity and ecosystem functions in Meghalaya, Northeast India” sanctioned to Dr. K. Upadhaya, Principal Investigator, Department of Basic Sciences and Social Sciences, School of Technology, NEHU, Shillong. Short listed applicants will be called for appearing before a selection committee for interview at Department of Basic Sciences and Social Sciences, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong-793 022. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.

Duration of the project: Three years

*Junior Research Fellow 2

Rs. 16000 p.m + HRA @15%

M.Sc in Botany/ Ecology/ Environmental Sciences/ Forestry

*Preference would be given to NET qualified candidates.
