Applications on plain paper along with complete Biodata and copies of certificates/ testimonials are invited for the below mentioned position in the DBT sponsored network project entitled “Functional genomics approaches in understanding the regulation of synthesis and accumulation of apocarotenoids in saffron crocus (Crocus sativus L.)" under Prof. N. K. Chrungoo, Centre for Advanced Studies in Botany, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. The details for qualifications and emoluments for the positions are as under:
Position : Research Associate/ Senior Research Fellow/ Junior Research fellow
Qualifications : Research Associate: Ph.D in Botany/Plant Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Agriculture
Senior Research Fellow: M.Sc with minimum of 50% marks in Botany/Plant Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Agriculture and minimum of two years research experience as evidenced by research publications in refereed journals
Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc with minimum of 50% marks in Botany/Plant Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Agriculture (NET/GATE/ BINC candidates shall be given preference)
Emoluments : as per DBT norms and may change as per DBT notifications from time to time.
*HRA shall be paid only in case the Associate/fellow is not provided University Accomodation/ Hostel.
Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply but the decision on their application shall be subject to he/she acquiring the requisite qualification before the date of interview.
