Applications invited for the following positions to work in a research project entitled "Integrated technological approaches for socio-economic development for livelihood improvement of SC population in Cuddalore of Tamilnadu" sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India for a period of 3 years.
Project Coordinator
Qualification: Candidates with B.Sc /M.Sc (Life Sciences/ Botany/ Agriculture / will be considered for the post.
Experience: 5 years experience in the field of Dissemination of Rural Technologies, Rural Entrepreneurship Development, Social Project Management. Preferable – experience in organic cultivation , manure production & Azolla production
Job Responsibilities: The candidate has to visit extensively to rural areas/villages and undertake/coordinate technology dissemination activities to SHGs, Farmers & Project beneficiaries through participatory approaches. Coordinate with Scientists/Resource persons, Organize hands-on-training activities, technical training programmes, meetings and conduct Participatory Rural Appraisals (PRA). Ability to train the targeted beneficiaries to adopt the technologies for income-generation.

Qualification: +2 (or) Any Degree.
Job Responsibilities: To assist the Project Coordinator in the training activities and technology dissemination process. The candidate has to visit extensively to rural areas/villages and maintain project infrastructures & undertake follow-up activities.
