Post of Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow under research project funded by Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) as follows:

Title of the project : Development of high yielding early maturing and short statured pigeonpea genotypes through induced mutagenesis

Project duration : Three years

Emoluments : Rs 16,000 p.m. + HRA @ 20% for first two years and Rs 18,000 p.m. + HRA @ 20% for third year

Academic qualification : At least 65% marks in M.Sc. Plant Breeding and Genetics/Biotechnology/Vegetable Breeding/Botany with good academic record

Experience : Experience in field and laboratory work, report preparation and proficiency in computer works (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Statistical packages)
